CST News
Christmas is almost here! Once again, the old refrain – where has the year gone? I am sure the years go by quicker as you get older.
The important news at CST is that Gregg is back working in the workshop again. He has opted to help us out of a bit of a staffing hole for which we thank him. Many of you will remember Gregg’s happy, smiling face from earlier in the year. He went from us the ProSouth but now bringing his skill set to us again. If there is anything you need to know about HP laptops, Gregg is your man. He is working at this area in Dunedin and has become the company expert in this area. A good man to have.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our staff – both here and in Dunedin. It has been a difficult year with staff appointments taking so long and one staff member on leave in Dunedin and another seconded to Cadburys for each morning while the staff member was away. However the staff have more than stepped up to the mark and all survived (just!). However, like Sue and I, I am sure they are looking forward to a break. Special thanks must go to Jon – our new manager in Dunedin. He stepped into a job which has been red hot since day one. I have really enjoyed working with Jon and look forward to a more settled year in 2016 where we can work together to really get some traction.
Jackie also deserves special mention. She is our front line and when things have been a madhouse in the background, Jackie has given the impression of calm and steady both in the shop and on the phone.
Sue and I are not going away this holidays. We will be around so will catch up with many in New World. Our aim is to catch up on sleep and spend ages harvesting the garden each day (wishful thinking?)
CST Holiday Hours
Close for Christmas break 23.12.2015 at 11.00am
Reopen 11.01.2016 at 9.00 am
As I mentioned, Sue and I will be around and can receive email and phone messages any time, so if you do need support, phone on 03 418 1600 and leave a message and I will get back to you. Emergency support might take a little longer but it will be there!
In addition, we will ensure that we have stocks of basic items or even replacement PCs, so do not hesitate to call.
Christmas Present Idea
Once again we are selling calendars for Richard at Clutha Photos. I always buy one of Richard’s calendars for Mum in Brisbane – easy present and gives Mum an idea of what the area is all about.
We have these for only $15 – pop in and have a look. If we need more, Richard is only a phone call away.
